Foreign operations

In addition to pursuing growth opportunities in Austria, in recent years Energiecomfort has been expanding its activities abroad. More than 350 foreign-based employees in Slovakia, Hungary and Germany work to provide services and know-how to companies in which Energiecomfort holds shares.

Since 2007, Energiecomfort’s 208 person-strong subsidiary Spravbytkomfort, in the Slovak town of Presov, supplies around 20,000 flats and 65 business customers with heating, while also providing property management services for 10,200 apartments.

At the beginning of 2008, a new customer care centre was opened in Presov and 2,000 flats were modernised under a contracting agreement as a result of which it was possible to reduce total heating consumption by 22%. These efforts have helped to position Spravbytkomfort as an energy advisor.

Energiecomfort is also making a move into the fields of heat supply and property management with its latest Slovakian partnership, operating from 2008 in the town of Trnava under the name of TT-Komfort.
