Wien Energie’s wholly owned subsidiary Energiecomfort has developed to become one of the largest companies operating in the growing market of facility management.
This business unit is active in the areas of building technology and security, supply and waste disposal services as well as providing cleaning services for office, commercial and residential properties, is growing. Sole responsibility is the essence of Energiecomfort’s all-inclusive service, which guarantees the long-term value retention of real estate. Customers have just one contact partner, leaving them free to concentrate on their own core competencies.
Important customers include Vienna International Airport, TownTown business management as well as the Bank Austria headquarters and its branches throughout Austria. The contract with the Austrian Postal Service, Österreichische Post AG, under the terms of which Energiecomfort is responsible for the security of gates, doors and barriers, was extended for a further three years.
Originally founded to operate as a heat supply company, Energiecomfort has over the past ten years developed into a successful all-in-one provider of energy and facility management services for the regional market, while also strengthening its position abroad.
Energiecomfort looks after around 800 business customers and approximately 17,000 private customers, providing services that focus on improving efficiency, saving energy and making use of alternative energy systems.
At the end of 2007, Energiecomfort founded its subsidiary Hauscomfort with a view to specialising in the area of services for people living in apartment buildings and individual apartments. In addition to making general small repairs, Hauscomfort can also install a home emergency call facility, arrange for food to be delivered and collect and deliver medication.
These services are primarily aimed at elderly and disabled people. The company works together with the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund and Fortuna Aktiv, a retirement home operator.
