Sales division

In accordance with the unbundling requirements imposed by the European Union, Wien Energie has separated its network and sales operations. The sales activities for gas and electricity have been combined in EnergieAllianz Austria (EAA), an alliance of several domestic energy companies, so as to achieve greater critical mass in the market. The operative core competencies of this company include the general management of energy sales, the development of attractive products and pricing. EnergieAllianz Austria GmbH, in which Wien Energie holds a 45% stake, is responsible for the general management of the regional sales subsidiary Wien Energie Vertrieb GmbH & Co KG.
